Celebrate the Spirit of Christmas at St Bride's!

Advent is one of the most profound seasons as we prepare for the Christmas celebration. We reflect on the needs of our world, to help us recognise the true significance of the coming of the Prince of Peace. After this most difficult of years, Christmas has never been more important, nor more relevant to the challenges we face.

Our special services all take place in church and online, except for Fleet Street Carols which will be online only. Please register for these so that we can send you details of how to watch online and safely manage the limited number we can host in church.

St Bride's, Fleet Street is a warm and welcoming Christian community, and one of the most famous and most fascinating historic churches in Central London.

St Bride's is known worldwide as the Journalists' Church, offering a spiritual home to all who work in the media. However, our ministry extends to everyone who lives and works within our parish, and to the thousands of visitors who come to us every year. Our beautiful Wren church provides a place of peace and a spiritual haven in the heart of the city for all who come. With one of the best professional choirs in the country, we are also well known for the outstanding quality of our music and of the worship we offer.

A place of Christian worship for 1500 years, we continue to proclaim the love of God here. Whether journalist, tourist, City resident or worker, you will always be made welcome.
Alison Joyce, Rector of St Bride's

'Cure those who are sick...' (Luke 10: 9)

The Christian understanding of healing is not just physical, but mental, emotional and spiritual. It is about growing into wholeness. We are partners with the medical profession in seeking healing for the whole person, and in offering prayer and anointing and the laying on of hands alongside medical treatment.

Lord, help us to bring all our needs, physical, mental and emotional, to you, and help us to pray for each other's wholeness. Amen.
