St Bride's, Fleet Street is a warm and welcoming Christian community, and one of the most famous and most fascinating historic churches in Central London.

St Bride's is known worldwide as the Journalists' Church, offering a spiritual home to all who work in the media. However, our ministry extends to everyone who lives and works within our parish, and to the thousands of visitors who come to us every year. Our beautiful Wren church provides a place of peace and a spiritual haven in the heart of the city for all who come. With one of the best professional choirs in the country, we are also well known for the outstanding quality of our music and of the worship we offer.

A place of Christian worship for 1500 years, we continue to proclaim the love of God here. Whether journalist, tourist, City resident or worker, you will always be made welcome.

You are welcome to join us and come and go as you please.

November 18

'The Lord God will wipe away the tears from every cheek.' (Isaiah 25: 8)

The prophet Isaiah dreams of a time when there will be no more tears or sorrow because death will have been destroyed for ever. Today we can wipe tears from people's eyes, and we can remove the burden of isolation, loneliness and rejection. When Jesus makes contact with those whose lives are broken, they come alive. We too can make people feel more alive and so free them from a living death.

Lord, you came that we might have life, and have it to the full. Help us to share that abundant life with others and so build your kingdom. Amen.
