St Bride's, Fleet Street is a warm and welcoming Christian community, and one of the most famous and most fascinating historic churches in Central London.

St Bride's is known worldwide as the Journalists' Church, offering a spiritual home to all who work in the media. However, our ministry extends to everyone who lives and works within our parish, and to the thousands of visitors who come to us every year. Our beautiful Wren church provides a place of peace and a spiritual haven in the heart of the city for all who come. With one of the best professional choirs in the country, we are also well known for the outstanding quality of our music and of the worship we offer.

A place of Christian worship for 1500 years, we continue to proclaim the love of God here. Whether journalist, tourist, City resident or worker, you will always be made welcome.
Alison Joyce, Rector of St Bride's

A Space For Silence

St Bride's church provides a space for silence every weekday evening between 5 and 6pm; a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Fleet Street and the City of London.

You are welcome to join us and come and go as you please.

August 14

'All of us form one body.' (Romans 12:5)

As we look at the multiplicity of Christian churches across the world today, we may be struck more by their disunity than any common bonds. But Paul reminds us that the unifying factor is that we belong together as parts of the body of Christ. Christ binds us together in the deepest communion and the most extraordinary diversity. We are all called to share in God's banquet in spite of our differences.

Lord Jesus, may we rejoice in the rich diversity of your people across the world, and all that binds us together in love. May we truly become one in you and so find our true joy. Amen.
