In an April Morning 

After attending the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music, Rachael Ueckermann gained a place at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2011, where she studied with Alexander Ardakov, Gabriele Baldocci and performed in masterclasses with pianists including Deniz Gelenbe, Philip Fowke, Sergio de Simone and with visiting artists Pascal Roge and Paul Komen. In her second year, Rachael took part in the Intercollegiate Piano Competition and was awarded 'The Managing Director's Prize'. Rachael performs frequently across London in venues such as St Alfege, the National Maritime Museum, St Lawrence's Jewry, Armourer's Hall and St George the Martyr. Rachael also performed at the opening weekend in the 2015 BBC Proms at The Royal Albert Hall as a member of Anna Meredith's 'Connect it' ensemble. A committed promoter of new music, Rachael has played for several premieres of works. She is also a member of Will Handysides' contemporary music ensemble, 'Ret Frem' and works closely with the Composer's collective, 'Outline'. Most recently, Rachael has recorded several tracks for an album of the 'Miniaturised Concertos' with works by Andrew Poppy et al. which was released in May 2016. She regularly commissions composers to write new works for her which she performs frequently in solo recitals in London. Rachael recently graduated from Royal Holloway University of London with a Master's degree in Advanced Musical studies.
