Classical and electric guitarist Hector Castro was born in Eastbourne and began lessons aged twelve with Irish folk guitarist, Terry Lees. At sixteen he continued his studies with Lee Sollory at Trinity College of Music, performing regularly as a soloist and as part of a trio. While studying a law degree at Greenwich University he undertook regular session work for major labels, including performances, recording sessions and rehearsals. In 2010 he returned to the Chapel to give a solo performance on behalf of the University's creative arts department. As well as performing Hector enjoys composing and writing. In 2013 his music 'Spineless' was featured in 'The Window', a short picture by prominent film-maker Adam Morse. The film later received international acclaim and was selected by film festivals globally. Now living in London he is available for recitals, musical theatre, bands, original music and private tuition.
