The Artists

Neil Dixon and David Mikic are currently furthering their studies at the Royal College of Music in London.

Neil Dixon is pursuing his Master’s in Performance at the Royal College of Music, studying with Daniel Rowland and Gabrielle Lester. He graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he studied with Peter Brunt. His previous teachers include Leland Chen, Remus Azoitei, Ruth Hahn and Michael Gurevich.

Neil has twice reached the quarter-finals of the BBC Young Musician of the Year and participated in masterclasses with Detlef Hahn and Alf Richard Kraggerud. He has performed in venues such as The Elgar Room of the Royal Albert Hall and Pushkin House in London. His chamber music performances include appearances on Dutch National TV with Het Otilka Quartet. Neil’s orchestral experiences include performances at the BBC Proms and Symphony Hall in Birmingham, playing on a violin made by Eugenio Degani, Venezia 1891.

David Mikic, born in 2000 in Feldkirch, Austria, began his musical journey at the age of six. He studied at the Feldkirch Conservatory under Benjamin Engeli, completing his Bachelor’s degree under Anna Adamik in Austria, and pursued a Master’s in Performance with Benjamin Moser in Lucerne, Switzerland. Additionally, he took piano lessons with Dmitri Demiashkin in Zurich.

David has achieved first prizes at competitions such as the Austrian national competition ‘Prima la musica’ and the international ‘Caneres’ competition in Vienna. His performances include collaborations with the Chopin Society in Feldkirch and the Rachmaninoff Foundation in Lucerne. He has been awarded scholarships from institutions like the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and the Rita Zimmermann Music Foundation. Masterclasses with pianists such as Ruben Dalibaltayan and Alexandre Dossin have been part of his educational journey.
