Memorial: David Pooley

A service of thanksgiving for the life of David Pooley will take place at St Bride’s Church, on Thursday 1st May at 3pm.

David Pooley was a long-time member of the Guild of St Bride.

A Quantity Surveyor by trade, David was taken in as a member of the family of John Oates, Rector of St Bride’s from 1984 to 2000, after spending much of his childhood in foster care.

After marriage to Judy, the Pooleys emigrated to Adelaide in 1974 before returning to the UK in the mid-1980s, now with three children, and settling in Camberley, Surrey.
